All Souls' Day, Latin Catholic celebration.

All Souls' Day was celebrated with a prayer in the Latin Catholic cemetery of Istanbul at 4 p.m. on November the 2nd. The celebration was leaded by the Bishop mons.Louis Pelâtre and the General Vicar fr.Ruben Tierrablanca.

All Souls' Day is a day of prayer for the dead, particularly but not exclusively one's relatives. In Western Christianity the annual celebration is held on 2 November and is associated with All Saints' Day (1 November). In the liturgical books of the Latin Church it is called The Commemoration of All the Faithful Departed (in latin Commemoratio Omnium Fidelium Defunctorum), and it is celebrated annually on 2 November, even if this date falls on a Sunday.
